Letter for UMD Asst Coach Langley

Hi Coach Chestnut,

We were so pleased to have the opportunity to meet you and your team! Thank you so much for bringing your young ladies to our game vs. NC State, and for waiting around after the game to talk with our staff. We really enjoyed spending time with you all, and may I say... the girls looked GREAT in their pink uniforms! I hope you guys will continue to attend our games. Thank you again for taking the time out to talk with us, and for bringing your team to see us in action. I hope this is just the beginning of a great friendship between Maryland Women's Basketball and Alana Beard's Future!!

Best wishes,

Tina

PS. I love your website... It's really well done!

Hi there! This is Patosha. There are dozens of ways to market your skills to college basketball coaches. One way is to play in front of them at an exposure camp.... Or the next best thing is to play in front of a recruiting scout. At my upcoming Spring Show Off Camp, you will get the best of both worlds. Because my camp is an NCAA certified event, college coaches can attend it and one of the nation's top girl's basketball recruiting scouts will also be evaluating the talent. Dan Olson is a former women's college basketball coach. Since 2004, he has evaluated national high school, junior high and junior college girls basketball players and ranked and critiqued thousands of prospects for colleges and universities across the country. Now, he is the respected authority in women's basketball. Dan Olson is the owner of The Girls Basketball Report at http://girlsbasketballreport.com. Over 300 college coaches subscribe to the report to view Olson's evaluations of players.....And if you attend the Spring Show Off Camp on April 18, 2009, he will be evaluating you and adding your profile to his database, where the college coaches will have an opportunity to see it. Registration is now open and is limited to only 60 players and I have already received registrations. You can visit the website at www.girlsbasketballexposure.com to get your spot. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at popo@girlsbasketballtrainer.com Patosha Jeffery, The Girls Basketball Trainer

Community Involvement

Our team will become more involved in other activities more than basketball. If you go to our website, you will find information on Breast Cancer Awareness. We would like for the girls to look at the video clips, look online for more information and write about 2-3 paragraphs on what they have learned. We will then post their comments onlilne. We have also put in an order for "Pink" uniforms for our girls to wear during Breast Cancer Awareness Week. Don't feel like typing a lot of info on that, so we can discuss in person.

Weekend of January 17th

I know I threw some of you off by saying Saturday game. But 2 of our girls will be playing in the Prince George's County Championship game at Prince George's Community College. We would love to have the support of their teammates at the game. The game is at Noon tomorrow. If your daughter can make it, that would be great. And we ask that they wear their New ABF Hoody Sweat Shirt. Again, please try and come and support Aleah and Camille in a rematch of last year's title game (Sameul Ogle vs Gwynn Park)!

Sunday our game is at Northwestern and starts at 2:50 pm. I think we are the home team, so wear White uniforms. We play against DC Heat

They have put the schedule for next week out for next week and we play at 9:30 against another Team Sol Team. More details will come next week.

Please let one of the coach's know if your child needs a ride.
Thanks and see you tomorrow!
